GearTrax™ provides the designer with an easy to use tool for creating solid models of drive components. Create spur, helical, straight bevel and involute splines with true involute tooth profiles.
GearTrax™ is intuitively easy to use for the designer with limited gear experience yet powerful enough for the gear expert. With Excel the designer can analyze the cam motions and compare different motion synthesis. Don't have Excel? Output can also be to a text file! Charted are displacement, velocity, acceleration, pressure angle, cam shaft torque, radius of curvature, contact stress and normal force.

- Với geartrax2006 và 2007, không cần chạy file ***** nào hết, có cách sau:
Bật Geartrax lên, nó đòi đăng ký, tại ô nhập thứ nhất, có 4 lựa chọn( bấm mũi tên trải xuống bên phải là thấy ngay): Use the SolidWorks serial number, Create a serial number for this computer to work with the SNL (GTSW#), Use a AKS HASP (for GearTrax station HASP users only), Use a AKS NetHASP (for GearTrax network license users only). Chọn cái thứ hai.
- Tại ô nhập thứ 2, nhập vào "0000 0000" ( tám số không, sau 4 số có dấu cách ở giữa). Bấm OK, rồi Accept là được. Chớ nên chọn Registration, 749 USD một bản, uống trà đá mấy năm mới hết.
