     Insert the key into the ignition. Do not start the engine.
     
     
   • 2
     Press and hold the trip odometer reset button. Turn the 525i on without starting the engine.
   • 3
   • Release the trip odometer reset button when "Reset" is displayed on the control panel.
     
     
   • 4
     Press and hold the trip odometer reset button until the "Reset" message starts to flash on and off.
     
     
   • 5
     Press and release the trip odometer reset button while "Reset" is flashing. The oil sensor resets.
