DESCRIPTION
The ECM determines the rail pressure value as a function of the engine’soperating conditions and controls the rail pressure regulator (MPROP) to ensurethat the rail pressure reaches the required value. If the rail pressure isexcessive, the rail pressure regulator opens and a portion of the fuel returnsfrom the rail to the fuel tank via a collector line. If the rail pressureis too low, the rail pressure regulator closes and seals off the high-pressurestage from the low-pressure stage. Rail pressure regulator is integrated inhigh-pressure pump.

•
P1185 : The fuel pressure > 1480 bar
•
P1186 : The fuel pressure measured is lower than the minimum pressuremapped at each engine speed.
•
P1187 : The rail pressure regulator is stuck open fully.
•
P1188 : The fuel pressure measured dose not reach to the appropriaterail pressure at each engine speed.
